Teaching Experience

Avid Certified Instructor (ACI)- Los Angeles, (1997-present).
Currently teaching Avid editing classes (group and one-on-one) in the L.A. area.

Filmmaker in Residence- FSU Conservatory in Motion Picture, Television and Recording Arts, (1993 - 1996)...teaching and supervising the producing, directing, editing and sound designing of film and video productions. Teaching courses in motion picture and video production and editing. Supervision of post production for ten thesis film productions (BFA and MFA) and coordinating film, video and audio post production for over one hundred narrative productions each year.

Adjunct Professor of Film and Video Production - Baylor University, Telecommunications Dept., (1989 - 1991).
Courses taught include introduction to the basic principles of film and video production and advanced film production techniques. Subjects covered included the fundamentals of lighting, shot composition, pacing, directing actors, picture editing, sound recording and editing and production scheduling.

Instructor - Various workshops and seminars for students and professionals including Central Texas Ad League, Bell County Communications Professionals Assn., Waco I.S.D., and The Hippodrome Summer Film Workshop For Children.
